In the second year studio course GRPH-2009 (Graphic Design 1), we were assigned a poem by a creative writing student and asked to make a motion piece that visually communicates the theme of our poem, a book documenting an interview we had with the poet, 2 posters advertising the exhibition of our works (one for our individual poem, and one for the class as a whole), and 2 short motion works that are shown when the posters are scanned with the Artivive app.
I was assigned 'Art Gallery' by Michael Freitas, a poem which explains the poet's love of feeling lost within a crowd.
